Every release of Nightpenny, in reverse chronological order. Version numbers match the App Store; bullets stay short and user-facing. Internal refactors and build-system changes are not listed here — if it's not visible to you, it doesn't belong on this page.

1.0.0
The first ship. Everything documented on the methodology page is in this release.
What's in 1.0
- 14-night balance. Rolling sum of your last 14 daily deltas, discounted past the first hour, clamped at −8h for readability.
- Daily ledger. One row per night with duration, target, delta, and source (Apple Watch, iPhone bedtime, manual entry).
- Forecast heatmap. 7-day × 24-hour grid shaded by the circadian dip, the pre-bed wind-down, and the weekdays that have historically been worse for you.
- Sunday ritual. Weekly three-minute review. Pennie summarises the week, you pick a pace, the app writes earlier bedtimes into your iOS Calendar.
- Repayment plans. Multi-night schedules to bring a negative balance back to zero without a single brutal recovery night.
- Manual entry. Free on every tier. For the nights HealthKit missed.
- Six home widgets. Balance gauge, this-week strip, trend chip, ledger row, heatmap tile, statement preview.
- Apple Watch app. Glanceable balance, today's delta, last-night source.
Privacy posture
- HealthKit reader only. No CloudKit sync. No server copy.
- Opt-in analytics, event names only — numbers and durations cannot leave the device.
- Crash reports scrub sleep-related values before send.
